About the Department

Formerly housed in Department of Languages and Literature, Department of Languages and Communication boasts a wealth of languages; English, French, Kiswahili, Luganda, and Runyakitara. Established in 2009, we facilitate both undergraduate and post-graduate programmes namely; Bachelor of Arts with Education, Bachelor of Arts in Arts, Bachelor of Education and Master of Arts in Kiswahili. Our hub of distinguished professionals in communication is a bank from which we facilitate communication skills to all the faculties of Kyambogo University. We host a diverse array of seasoned, experienced and skilled editors and translators responsible for high quality editorial and translation services.
