This coming Saturday, November 23, 2024, Kyambogo University will take centre stage as the proud host of the International Day of the Teacher of French. The event, organized by the Association of Teachers of French in Uganda (APFO), promises to be a remarkable celebration of the French language and the pivotal role teachers play in its promotion.

This year’s festivities will unite a diverse group of stakeholders, including the French Embassy, Alliance Française of Kampala, Makerere University, Makerere University Business School (MUBS), and the International University of East Africa (IUEA). French clubs from higher institutions of learning will also join hands to honour this annual tradition, celebrated on a rotational basis each November.
