The specific requirements relating to admission into this program are:
- Applicants of this programme should hold a first degree of at least lower second or its equivalent from a university or institution recognised at national level by NCHE. Applicants with a 1st class or upper second-degree class may not require a working experience to be admitted.
- Any applicant who is a holder of a third-class degree or its equivalent may be admitted only after providing evidence of academic growth and maturity in the field of geography or GIS as judged by the graduate school
